In January, Dr. Michelle Chestovich launched her podcast Re-Mind Yourself, through which she offers tips and insights on mental health topics from burnout to perfectionism. On Feb. 3, she addressed the topic of allowing ourselves to feel ALL of our emotions.

Never could she have imagined how important that would be when her kid sister, Gretchen, committed suicide in early March.

The unthinkable tragedy led Michelle to set forth on a grief journey, and she's bringing her listeners, her social media followers, and anyone who will listen with her as she speaks openly about the pain she's processing. She's creating a safe space to talk about grief, loss, and the resulting trauma, while turning up the volume on suicide prevention awareness.

Our conversation with Michelle was presented by Mindful Marathon. Exercise is medicine, and pediatrician/running coach Michelle Quirk is ready to write a prescription. Whether you’re training for your first 5K or looking to tackle an ultramarathon, she will build an individualized plan and be at your side from start to finish.
